Having said all that, I asked her if it made her uncomfortable and that if it did, I'd unfollow them all in a heartbeat (it's not worth jeopardizing a healthy relationship). I am admittedly a big fan of the female form and have an appreciation for the artistry of boudoir photography (though it isn't all that I follow). My girlfriend made an oblique comment on this one time. I'm putting myself out there but I am a male who follows some Instagram models and photographers (granted I don't comment on anything). Not that I can't understand it but if they really felt it was a threat then we'd probably need to sit and have a long talk. That being said, if my partner took serious offense at my taste in pictures of women on the internet I'd be a bit perturbed. I'm pretty slim but do not have a chiseled body (or a body that looks like it's ever done any hard work really) so who am I do impose silly standards on another. I find lots of body types attractive, so yeah I enjoy the rare trip into some the feed of an instamodel or maybe checking out one of the million subs on reddit here dedicated to scantily clad women but I also don't demand (or expect) that my partners adhere to those ridiculous standards. It bothered her though (she was curvy when we started dating but put a noticeable amount in the years that followed). I still found her beautiful and it didn't bother me. I don't really instagram but my two cents is that it shouldn't matter.
